Noise Abatement

Op vliegveld Hilversum vliegen wij maatschappelijk verantwoord. Onderdeel daarvan is het beperken van geluidsoverlast voor onze buren waar dat mogelijk is. Het bestuur van de Stichting Vliegveld Hilversum heeft al langere tijd deze bladzijde op haar website over "noise abatement". Deze informatie is ook bedoeld voor vliegende bezoekers (uit het buitenland) die de omgeving nog niet goed kennen.
We hebben het bijgevoegde kaartje nu ook laten drukken als flyer op A5-formaat om uit te delen aan piloten, passagiers en geïnteresseerden. We hebben er maar liefst 2.500, dus kom er gerust een halen op vliegveld Hilversum bij een van de vliegclubs of vliegscholen.

Voor piloten: we hebben de drie circuits op één kaartje ingetekend met alle entries en exits. Natuurlijk moet je altijd de actuele Visual Approach Charts uit de AIP gebruiken voor de vluchtvoorbereiding en -uitvoering!

Do not use this noise abatement chart for flight preparation or flying en route!

Information for visitors

Hilversum Airport welcomes aircraft and helicopters with an all-up-weight (AUW) of maximum 6.000 kg and gliders. For aircraft and helicopters above an AUW of 2.500 kg is prior permission required. Hilversum Airport welcomes national and international civil visitors.

Area's to be avoided due to noise abatement

All built up area's shall be avoided, especially:

• Landgoed Zonnestraal
• Maartensdijk
• Hollandsche Rading
• The permanent camping at baseleg 31 / crosswind leg 13

Please repect our neighbours in:

• Nieuw Loosdrecht and Oud Loosdrecht
• Hilversum

Do not overfly the Para Jumping area at Westbroek when active. Do not overfly EHP25 Drakensteyn Castle below 2.000 ft.

EHHV AD 2.21 NOISE ABATEMENT PROCEDURES

1 MEASURES

Measures are in force to reduce noise nuisance on and around the aerodrome. These measures include restrictions on the aerodrome operational hours for the following categories of flights:

1.1 Touch-and-go flights

Touch-and-go flights and aircraft repeatedly practicing take-offs, landings and missed approach procedures, are allowed:

• on working days MON-FRI from 0700-1700 (0600-1600).
• on SAT 0700-1500 (0600-1400); up to MAX 60 dB(A) 0700-1700 (0600-1600).
• on SUN and HOL 1000-1500 (0900-1400); up to MAX 60 dB(A) 0700-1700 (0600-1600).

1.2 Sightseeing flights

Sightseeing flights are allowed:

• on working days MON-FRI from 0700-1900 (0600-1800).
• on SAT 0700-1800 (0600-1700).
• on SUN and HOL 1000-1800 (0900-1700).

1.3 Banner towing flights

Banner towing flights are allowed:

• on working days MON-FRI from 0700-1900 (0600-1800).
• on SAT 0700-1700 (0600-1600); after 1700 (1600) landings may still be executed until 1900 (1800).
• on SUN not allowed.
• on HOL 1000-1700 (0900-1600); after 1700 (1600) landings may still be executed until 1900 (1800).

1.4 Para flights

Para flights are allowed:

• on working days MON-FRI from 0700-1900 (0600-1800).
• on SAT 0700-1700 (0600-1600); hereafter a MAX of 2 flights per quarter of an hour is allowed until 1900 (1800).
• on SUN and HOL 1000-1700 (0900-1600).
